   Hi there

   Just loking into Spanish courses running in or round Oaxaca. We are as amature as it comes when it comes to spanish and a travelling on a budget!
   Any suggestions towards courses or learning spanish whilst travelling would be appreciated!

   Hello!!

   I took Spanish classes in Oaxaca at the Instituto Cultural de Oaxaca http://www.icomexico.com

   By far one of the best Spanish schools in Mexico. It will run you about $120/week for 4hrs/day of classes and then extras classes in the afternoon for dancing, cooking, crafts, etc. At least that's how it was 3 years ago.

   You will love it. I don't know how much time you have in Mex, but try to take more than a week of class

   About language schools in Oaxaca.
   The institute is much more expensive than most of the schools. The expats living here in Oaxaca tend to use these two schools
   www.ollinoaxaca.org with Omar or Spanish Magic with Flor. There is also a private teacher at about 100 pesos per hour that will come to your hotel, or meet you at a coffee shop. She is great because you can learn Spanish as you see the city. Here name is Rosa Elena. Let me know if you are interested in her.

   In Oaxaca I dont know about schools but you can take an intensive course of 1 week and from there start travelling

   or you can adventure yourselves and try along your trip, although the more touristic you keep it the more English you will listen.

   I live in a place where there are some schools that give intensive courses
