   hi,

   arrived in sydney on sunday and have decided to go for a day trip to the blue mountains. has anyone done this??? can you recommend a company to go with??? seems that everyone does these trips but has different prices and different itineries!!!! anyone else interested in doing the tour???

   My wife and I did a day trip to the Blue Mountains. You can totally do it on your own without a tour company. We took the train from Sydney to Katoomba. From there you can take a bus to the key points of interest in the area.

   We enjoyed spending a day in the mountains and doing some hiking. I recommend it.
