    Hello everyone,

i am planning a trip for july to Kenora and area. i want to tent in Rushing river for about a week or so.

i just dont know what all to do there. I am taking my younger sister with me (she is not 18 yet)

I want to take a day trip to sioux narrows, spend a day or two in Kenora shopping. go in the MS KENORA.
but after that i am stuck!
anyone have any ideas for me?
I do want to spend a day relaxing by the beach and such.
but i think we need a few more things to do.
i dont mind travelling a bit away from Kenora. just not to many hours. and i would to keep that as the returning place each day.

    any suggestions would be great!
    Thanks guys!!!

The museum is pretty great. I used to love going there as a kid.
You should probably check out the chip truck, awesome fries. Some of the best Ive ever had.
If I may suggest the beach on Coney Island, although its hard to get to if you havent got a boat, but I assume there might be boat taxis or whatever.
Personally speeking Im happy just going for walks and checking out all the old houses and stuff.
Theres also a big yellow historical house in Kewaiitan(sp?) down the road west of the elk's lodge. I cant remember the address or what it's called or anything but you might be able to google it or something. you could check out the rock holes as well.

You would probably find a huge list of stuff to do at this website: http://www.kenora.ca/portal/index.aspx
Im currently looking for there laws on busking, as I plan to travel across canada this summer and eventually end up in NY somewhere.

I dont know, I used to live there but I moved quite a while ago, although I do still go back on occasion but I havent been back since September 2006. Now I kinda just stick to the west coast.

    good luck!
