Hi,
My friend and I are leaving for South America for 7 weeks in March. We arrive into Buenes Aires and from there we plan on heading towards Rio de Janeiro, taking in the Iguazu Falls and Sao Paolo on the way. We then hope to cross over to La Paz and then on to Peru to visit Machu Picchu. On the way there we want to visit Bolivia. After Peru we will travel down through Chile and hopefully get down as far as Patagonia, then back up to Santiago where we fly out from.
Does anyone have advice on what is the best way to travel from Rio? Planes look too expensive and we want to take in Bolivia. Once we get to Peru it should be fairly straightforward (fingers crossed) to get down through Chile. Any suggestions regarding transport or itinerary would be much appreciated!
Thanks
