   Hello,

   Im coming to LA on the 13/06/08 till 10/07/08 and am 20 years old. Im wanting to travel within the West to places like Yellostone, Moab and Seattle. I am however finding it very difficult to find a car rental service. Ive been driving for 3 years.

   Can anyone recommend a company?

   Most rental car companies are hesitant to rent to drivers under 25 for liability and insurance reasons, which is why most will add a supplement to younger renters such as yourself.

   To find one, you may have to do a bit of digging. I'd suggest you use a mix of methods to get around (bus, train, flying), and rent locally from a local rental. The best place to find more flexible companies is to find ones that rent older, used cars. You may have to look in phone directories locally, and you're not likely to be able to drop it off in another location.
