   We'll be staying with friends there next week and want to give them a "day off" and wander on our own one day. Any suggestions for two adults, no kids? A nice hike maybe, or a nice drive, window shopping, art galleries, nice spot for lunch. Not too much into antiques but could look. Husband loves historical sites. Thanks!

   Very pretty area that revolves around Newfound Lake-nice drive. Villages are typical N.E. and steeped in history. Friends of yours own Earthly Treasures in downtown Bristol-very upscale and worth a look. Vic and Elaine are very familar with the area and might suggest some interesting places.
