   Hi,in BA for approx 8days.Accomodation,transport etc all paid for.I just need an estimate of how much cash would be 'sufficient'for extras so to speak.

   *Intend to eat out 2-3 nights.All other meals covered.
   *Will probably use cards for any significant shopping.
   *General prices of beverages.

   Hola. BA is quite cheap for a capital city. I can recommend a place called Grand Victoria (sorry I am not sure of the address but i think it is on Supacha) and for 11 pesos you can eat as much as you want including Parilla. Drinks are usually about 7 pesos for a spirit and mixer, except up at Las Canistas which is about 10 pesos. In general when I was living there I could get a nice meal plus wine for less than 40 pesos and at very good quality. Shopping is also good for Argentinian clothes, although sports brands such as Adidas arent much different than in Europe. Wines are very good value, in supermarkets and restos. Hope this helps a little. Have a fab time in BA.
