   My wife and I are driving the Pan American Highway this fall from Alaska to Chile and plan to camp most of the time. Can anyone recommend a good camping guidebook or a guide book that would have a good list of campsites. Thanks for all your help. This is part of a drive around the world trip and with oil prices going up so fast, we need to save as much as possible. thanks in advance.

   If there is such a book that deals with CA I want a copy myself. I have never heard of one. I'll look around......
