   If anyone is heading to Antigua, Guatemala, I recommend you stay at Posada Refugio, across from the supermarket. Prices are about 5 USD, with your own bathroom and shower. Above the supermarket is Backpacker's Place, but is slightly more pricey and street noise can be loud

   I think I've stayed there. If I recall correctly, its one of the few places that rent SINGLE rooms.
   Its right next to the bus stop for the bus to Panajachel, right? The one I remember has a kitchen, but forget about using it. Japanese. Chinese, and Korean language students keep a 24 hour watch on the place, and theres always one of their pots boiling away.
