   Hello;
   I just have a few questions.
   First, Can anyone recommend some good beaches on the Pacific side of Panama?

   I'll be traveling in the region from Panama to Costa rica for 18 days in late September into October.

   Has anyone been River rafting in Panama near Boquete? Or have any info on the subject?

   Last, Sould I spend more of my time in Panama because there are not as many tourist as apposed to Costa Rica?

   Hey! I know this may not answer your question, but I'll be in Panama in mid Augist, I'm going to Bocas Del Toro for about 4 days, It's on the caribbean side and about a 3.5 hour bus ride from Panama City. According to many Panamenos, it's be best city in the Isthmus. Unfortunately, I will be going during the RAINY season, but it shouldn't rain ALL day. A cute little day trip is Isla Tabogo, a 30 min ferry for $8 RT from Panama City. Small clean beach, nice to just bring a book and relax. If you stay the night a GREAT hotel is Hotel Vereda, it is brand new and gorgeous, when I was there in February (perfect weather) the rate was about $45 a night. Very nice and clean rooms with pretty design, I think #7 was the best room with a view. Have fun and enjoy!
