   Hi,

   We will travel in Guatemala and Honduras in August and September. One of the things we want to visit are the Bay Islands (Honduras), but we do not know if Roatan or Utila is the better choice. Does any one have experience with these islands ? Accommodations/Activities.

   I am not the right person to answer this because I have never been to Honduras....BUT I was going to go and did some research -

   I decided out of those two that I preferred the sound of Utila, as Roatan, although I believe it has nice beaches, is more built up, touristy and expensive. Utila, as I understand, is cheaper, less visited, less built-up and more laid back.

   you really should get a second opinion though, as I dont really know what I am talking about
