   I am trying to find out about traveling between damascus and amman.
   is it possible now days - March 2008
   and how to go about it

   Hello,

   No problem! I went last october to the Middle East. I went from Syria to Jordan. Do you have a visa for Jordan and Syria? At the borders you have to have some patience (no visa of Israël in your passport or otherwise you won't get in I am afraid).
   It's worthwile waiting to visit the cradle of our civilisation (especially Syria).
