   The Drakensberg Montains seem to offer something special for a visit to South Africa that is a bit off the beaten track. But where do I find information about the region, services like hiking guides etc. There does seem to be some accommodation available but exactly where which is located is difficult to visualise. The best site I found was http://www.drakensberg-tourism.com but it is far to general information

   One good tip would be to avoid .com websites cause they are ussually expensive, and are not hosted by south africans.
   Try search in google, but include ' site:.co.za '. This will give you only south african website results: by south africans.

   Also try searching 'midland'- its an area right next to the drakensberg - beautiful - I'm local, and I went there over chrismas season!!!

   I'm sure (hoping) that this will give much better results.
   If you're looking for anything more particular... just shout.
