    Hey
Ilm planning to campervan around New Zealand in July/Aug and i have been warned that it may be too cold to sleep in the van as it is winter, Any suggestions?
We also plan to get some skiing in but are wondering where the best (and most affordable) ski spots are.
    Thanks for ur help

    Hello,

I have travelled around NZ in a Campervan for almost a year and unfortunately you're right it gets too cold to sleep in the van around July and August. During this time we were living and working in crazy Queenstown, a perfect spot to go skiing and boarding.
Don't know what the prices are now and the temperatures on the North island in winter, it's said to be warmer there.

    Enjoy NZ!!!
