I'm going to Australia for a couple of weeks in February and I fly into Melbourne, but I want to visit Tazmania. Anyway, can anyone tell me the best way to get to Tazmania from Melbourne - flight or ferry?
Also, do flights/ferries get booked up well in advance or can you usually just turn up on the day and get a ticket? I've got fourteen days in Australia and I've been to Melbourne before, so ideally I want to get straight across to Tazmania as soon as I get there.
