   I was just wondering how hard is it to get a work visa to Australia? Is it likely that they would reject an applicant a visa for having a DUI on there driving record..as that may be considered a 'criminal offense' even if it has been spent and is from five years ago?
   I was just curious, as I am planning on going to Australia in October

   I very much doubt it. I got one a couple of years ago and when I took it up to Australia House to get authorised I was in and out in 15 minutes and they barely looked at the paperwork. I wouldn't bother about getting an agency to do it as I think it is a waste of money, better spent sightseeing.
   You can always contact an agency to see what they think first.
