   I know someone was asking about great beaches in February - but I need to do it cheaply! Am I bonkers to think I can get away for 2 weeks for 2 people to somewhere hot in Feb for under a grand ?? (£ pounds) We are not fussy, but like beaches and watersports and preferably no packages.

   I'm sure people do this all the time, but i can't find anything other than vile looking package holidays......

   Any tips for someone who needs a new kitchen floor *and* a holiday?!

   Hi

   The problem you have in Feb is that it's half term and allocation is limited.
   You will find a package for around the price you want but forget travelling around the 13th the flights are astronomical.
   My Travel are asking £350 for a 7 night flight to Tenerife for example.

   This also applies to the no frills airlines, families booked up the cheap flights months ago

   Just shop around and look for dates after 23rd.
