I just got back from Croatia and have to report that it is a beautiful country with a dramatic and spectacular coastline. I was really impressed. I went with my bf who is from the capital, Zagreb, spending 5 days there and then driving to the coast and following it down all the way to Dubrovnik. We checked out the seaside towns of Sibenik, Trogir, Split and also toured some vineyards on the Peljesac penninsula. We spent 5 nights in a rented apartment on the island of Mljet which was amazing. The island is pristine and beautiful and very undeveloped. From there we took a day trip to Dubrovnik which is an amazing sight to see and a walk around the fortified city walls is a must. And then, of course, there are the beautiful Dalmatian men! All in all it was an amazing trip and I highly recommend it.
