Has anyone noticed that the fuel surcharge for Glasgow to Sanford flights has been removed? I booked 2 weeks ago and was charged £90 for 2 fuel supplements in premium economy, but noticed yesterday that the flights are the same basic price, £2.50 has been added to the tax, but he fuel supplement has been removed altogether. I phoned Globespan and was told in an apologetic way that "yes, the fuel tax has been removed", but "there are not going to be any refunds". On querying how this could be, the operator told me that she thinks people are writing or emailing regarding refunds. I have emailed Globespan, but so far have had no reply. Anyone any comments?
