Sorry if this has been asked recently, I didn't see anything after searching. There has been a lot of mis-information going around about the new security requirements to enter the USA from Canada, some people telling me that now a passport is necessary to enter the USA via airplane (despite the rules not going in to effect until next year), and others telling me that a simple photo ID will do as usual. This concerns me as I am set to leave for the USA on Thursday from here in Calgary, and while I have a passport one of my sons does not (we've been putting it off, unfortunately and just went through the process to get one today, however it won't arrive for awhile). If anybody could shed some light on the situation I would much appreciate it. Thank you.
