If you want to book stuff online, they usually require payment by credit card. If your parents don't mind putting the cost on their card, then you can go about it that way. But an alternative is to go on websites where you can book a hostel online, such as this wonderful site right here ( ) in the destinations section or www.hotels.com, and get the phone numbers (in the cases where it is available). That way, you can give the hostel a call and make a reservation. They might still want a credit card number, but that's the only way to book without having a credit card at all.
To book plane tickets online, you definitely need a credit card. I've never actually come across a site where you don't need one so that's another place where your parents can charge the airfare on their card and you can repay them. Travelling alone when you are under 18 is fine as we all know so it's really the payment that will be the obstacle.
If you have any other questions about places to be in France don't hesitate to ask! I had to do a lot of research for a trip I was going to take last year (which unfortunately didn't come to fruition for a variety of reasons :( ) so you can message me anytime! Good luck!
