I have noticed more and more lately that a lot, maybe even a majority of Americans that I meet/talk to who are addicted to travelling used to live or grew up in Alaska. I grew up there too, so I am not really surprised, because everyone used to travel up there in the winter time with their permanent fund checks. I just think it is noteworthy because there are so few Alaskans to start with, and I constantly run into them either on sites like TP or in my travels.
Is there anyone else around who travels a lot who also comes from Alaska, or used to live there? I think it will be interesting to see how many folks wind up responding to this.
Maybe I should have put this in the North American slot forum, but I figure "General Stuff" does just as well
