I still have no idea where this tour will take me, and that is, hopefully, where you will come in.
I would be very grateful if you could give me as much advise as possible on the things you simply HAVE to see, which things to look out for, which places you have to visit and any general advise you can give me about traveling in Japan.
Keep in mind that no destination in Japan will be too far fetched, as I will be traveling for at least a month in the country. So go wild on your suggestions.
I'm also keen to know which mode of transport you would recommend, i.e. plane, bullet train, rental car, etc.
Another important factor to weigh in my decision will probably be in which season to visit; I know I'd love to see the sakura festival, but is spring the best time to visit?
