I headed to Vietnam with my friend and joined some short tours with local agencies but some of them are not good.
We did the tour to Halong bay with the price of 60usd for 2 days trip but it was bad. My advice is, you should book the trip to Halong bay with real travel agency like Hanspan, southpacific travel, columbus as they do have boat on the bay so they can ensure your travel.
Though our time in Halong is not really nice, I like to see the mountains on the sea and doing some kayaking.
My second tour is to Cao Son which is really off-the-beaten track but it is excellent tour. Good tour guide, magnificient landscape, friendly people, colorful culture and some odd rites. Cao Son Ecolodge is also a good tour operator.
We did the trek in Sapa either, I love the mountain here. We took good shots with terraces, Hmong people and Red Dzao people.
