I´m currently in viña del mar in chile working but when i finish my placement my sister is flying out and we hope to get from santiago to buenos aires, iguassu falls, rio and then possibly come back to santiago via asunción in paraguay. Like you we are probably going to travel by bus because we are definitely not millionaires(!) and also we want to see as much of the countries we´re going through as possible. I'm trying to piece together a trip and part of it takes me from across the South American continent from Santiago to Rio de Janeiro. I'm trying to keep the expense down to an absolute minimum so I'm looking for buses or trains from Santiago to Buenous Aires and then on to Rio. The length of these to jumps doesn't really matter, as I'd be more than willing to spend the extra time on a bus or train and save the extra money. Besides, it's an adventure. Right?
